Do NOT send it in. Discard the swab and request a free replacement kit. Discoloration can affect result accuracy.

I forgot to mail my sample right away

Your sample is stable for up to 72 hours at room temperature. If it has been longer than 72 hours, please request a new kit for guaranteed accuracy.

I have a cold, sore throat, or mouth infection

Wait until you are fully recovered before collecting your sample. Illness can contaminate the sample and may lead to testing failure.

My kit arrived damaged, open, or missing parts

Do NOT use a compromised kit. Contact support immediately for a free replacement to ensure sample integrity.

I’m worried I didn’t swab long enough

As long as you rubbed the swab firmly against the inside of each cheek for the full 30–45 seconds, you’re fine. If unsure, you can always order an extra swab (free of charge).
